Mary-Lynn brings over 25 years of experience in social work and mental health settings to her work with clients. She specializes in supporting women through trauma, transitions, and the quiet weight of life's more complex chapters — offering a therapeutic space that is both grounded and deeply attuned.
She is EMDRIA-certified in EMDR therapy and trained in Brainspotting and IFS-informed approaches, allowing her to meet clients where trauma lives — not just in the story, but in the body and the nervous system.
In addition she is the owner of Cape Cod Psychological Associates. She graduated from Boston University School of Social Work with her Masters in Social Work in 2009 and obtained her independent licensure in 2012. She has experience working in a variety of settings including, in home family counseling, direct support in residential homes, group development and therapeutic support for day treatment, and has provided mental health support in a psychiatric hospital. She also has gained experience serving as a former clinical supervisor and clinical trainer. In 2016 Mary-Lynn went into private practice and created Cape Cod Psychological Associates in 2020.
Mary-Lynn loves being a part of the growth process and seeks to offer a warm and supportive environment for her clients. She is frequently sought out for trauma treatment, managing symptoms, grief and loss, family challenges, societal pressures and expectations, co-dependency, addiction, poor self-esteem, transitions, and creating positive habits.

Being able to self-regulate is necessary as well as the ability to establishing a sense of trust and safety with your therapist. Additionally some individuals may be able to into reprocessing more rapidly such as the case in single incident traumas whereas, others may require more preparatory work such as with people who have attachment traumas or Complex PTSD.
